The heart the believer breaks over the present condition of the world. While we intercede for our leaders and cry for revival in the church, we must remind ourselves that we are citizens of another kingdom. The Bible teaches us that in the last days perilous will come. One thing encouraging about that verse is that it is the “Last Days.” Our Lord is coming back-soon! Unto them that look for him shall he appear—-. The King is coming! The powers of darkness shall be brought down. The prince of darkness will be bound. The waiting saints shall welcome their awaited King. The redeemed shall sing their new song. The saints of all ages will be gathered, never again to say goodbye. Yes, the hearts of the saints languish in times like these but from deep inside, there is a summoning cry comes forth; “Even so, come Lord Jesus!” Let the righteous King reign in righteousness over those made righteous by the blood of the Lamb!
Yes! We need to be constantly reminded of our true heritage, our establishment in the Kingdom we belong to! The Kingdom of God!! Thank you Dad for continuing to cast this vision upon us of these last days we are in! Jesus is coming!!
Remember the chorus we used to sing? “And we’ll be dwelling together; How happy we shall be, throughout eternity. And we’ll be dwelling together; My Lord and I.” All of us together with our Lord!
